This class covers everything that you need to know about your baby’s first few weeks and months of life so that you enter parenthood feeling more informed, confident and prepared.

You will learn:

  • What normal newborn behaviour consists of

  • How to care for your newborn

  • How to diaper and bathe your newborn

  • How to comfort and bond with your baby

  • The importance of early skin-to-skin contact

  • Infant sleep basics

Newborn Care Instructor

Lesa La Pointe (she/her) has worked as a registered midwife supporting hundreds of families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Lesa is also a DONA trained Doula (2003) and a certified Le Leche League Leader (2015) and is currently pursuing her masters degree in counselling psychology.

Lesa is especially passionate about supporting families through the postpartum transition.
